A barbecue chicken wing product is among a new range of TGI-Fridays branded sous-vide meat dishes being made for Morrisons by Tulip.
The range will be available from 23 April in 300 Morrisons stores priced from £4.50.
Designed to capitalise on the trend for slow cooked dishes with strong flavours, the range also includes a selection of meats. The lines include Slow Cooked Barbacoa Pulled Beef Tortilla Wrap Kit, Slow Cooked Rack of Ribs with a Tennessee Bourbon BBQ Glaze and Slow Cooked Chicken Wings and Pork Ribs selection packs.
“Consumers want restaurant quality meals at home without the hassle,” said Graeme Clapp, commercial director at HFR Foods, which collaborated with Tulip on the range. “For the past four years the sous vide market has grown at an incredibly fast pace and by developing a range with a much loved brand like TGI Fridays, we hope to continue to excite fans of the brand and attract new consumers along the way.”
