The roll out of Tesco’s discounter format is continuing with two new Jack’s stores opening in Middlewich and Rubery with customers queuing up to see what the new stores had to offer.
Jack’s Area Manager for Middlewich, Kate Forth, added: “Following successful openings in Merseyside it was great to open the store in Middlewich. The hard work of colleagues has made this possible and we’re really excited to start serving customers.”
The launch of Jack’s is part of Tesco’s centenary celebrations, which will see the business mark 100 years of delivering great value to British shoppers.
Over the next six months Tesco will launch 10-15 Jack’s stores in the UK. The first two stores opened on 20 September in Immingham, Lincolnshire and Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Jack’s in Edge Hill and St Helens in Merseyside opened on 4 October.
