Veterinary business Poultry Health Services has formed a collaborative initiative with agricultural construction firm Clarke Group.
The two businesses have agreed to work together to advise customers on mutually beneficial products and services.
“We have shared clients for many years with Clarke Group,” said Sara Perez, veterinary director at Poultry Health Services. “This collaborative agreement will result in an enhanced service to clients as poultry veterinarians will be able to advise on the best options to prevent disease in new or refurbished poultry buildings. In a time when diseases like Avian Influenza are becoming more prevalent and we are proactively working towards antibiotic reduction, it is important that we use our expertise and work together to prevent disease. “
Paul Clarke, director of Clarke Group Construction, said: “Bird welfare and bio-security are major factors in the success of poultry farms. We feel that with the valuable knowledge of Poultry Health Services combined with our innovative approach it will enable us to work together to improve industry standards on the design and delivery of our projects within the poultry industry. We are very much looking forward to working with Poultry Health Services.”
The firms said they would work together to advise clients on improving bird welfare and biosecurity through:
· Proactive health planning
· Performance data review and benchmarking.
· Training events for clients and general practice vets
“We understand this working initiative to be unique in the poultry world and feel that the services that the two companies can deliver together, to our clients combine our passion, commitment and support with first class project delivery and after care sales,” said Clarke.
