A new disinfectant has been launched aimed at coccidiosis control.
Coccidiosis is an all-year round problem for poultry producers, meaning biosecurity and disinfection protocols must be rigorously applied. Neogen Farm Fluid MAX is specially designed to be used as an integral component of coccidiosis control protocols.
The company said the product – Neogen Farm Fluid MAX – is able to destroy oocysts, breaking the protozoa cycle and inactivating up to 100% of sporulated and non-sporulated oocysts. At 2% dilution, it has been proven to be effective on multiple field strains of Eimeria oocysts, including E. tenella, E. maxima, and E. acervulina.
The product can be used in a variety of applications for the general disinfection of both indoor and outdoor animal housing, as well as in wheel and boot dips with minimal degradation by direct sunlight.
