A number of staff who work at a second Bernard Matthews site have tested positive for COVID-19 and are isolating at home. The second outbreak follows a cluster of more than 50 cases at Bernard Matthews’ Suffolk turkey processing plant.
Director of Public Health for Norfolk, Dr Louise Smith, said: “We can confirm that a small number of staff have tested positive for COVID-19 at the Bernard Matthews site at Great Witchingham in Norfolk. All are isolating at home.
“Norfolk Outbreak control team are working with the management team at the site to trace the contacts of those who have tested positive and to prevent any further transmission of the virus on the site.”
