Stonegate, one of the largest free-range and organic producers globally, has recently invested in an upgrade to the latest version of Principle Suite.
The company, which has been trading for over 90 years, recently strengthened its new packing technology to follow up on an investment made in its packaging centre.
Stonegate has been successfully using the real time data capture software since September 2017 to standardise and enhance around 1,900 tasks per month. Specific areas of use include quality management, stock takes, cleaning schedules, scale calibrations, metal detection checks, production checks, goods in records, vehicle checks and audits.
The solution upgrade, successfully completed at the start of October, has already seen the time spent on high care packing checks reduced by almost 75%, according to Stonegate.
Stephen Williams – Senior IT Manager for Stonegate Farmers said: “Applied Principles are able to keep coming up with amazing new features to help in all kinds of areas across the business. With the latest release of Applied Principles software, we have been able to use it in so many more different areas, meaning our efficiency increases and our amount of paperwork decreases.”
