Farmers have been invited to a working farm in North Yorkshire to take part in a training event designed to improve pest control on rural sites.
Hosted by pest control supplier, Killgerm, and pest control manufacturer, BASF, the event will feature a packed agenda including live demonstrations, presentations, group discussions and practical sessions from industry experts, throughout the day.
Taking place on Thursday 20 June, the event will run from 8.30am – 4pm at Top House Farm, Rawcliffe Bridge. Attendees will get practical tips and advice on rural pest control, as well as a free 3kg tub of Selontra and a 3kg tub of Monitoring Paste, providing they hold approved UK stewardship certificate. Admission is £60 + VAT, including breakfast and lunch.
Attendees will cover topics such as trapping and baiting techniques, wildlife management, proofing and monitoring methods, as well as advice writing environmental risk assessments and an in-depth review of the Red Tractor specification, along with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with representatives from Red Tractor.
