British pig and poultry compound feed manufacturer ABN has announced the acquisition of its mill facility site in Penrith, Cumbria.
The purchase of the Langwathby Mill demonstrates ABN’s long-term commitment to this important part of its national estate, the company said.
ABN began producing feed in 2016, and Langwathby Mill is one of its ten manufacturing sites.
Danny Johnson, ABN general manager, said: “It is vital that we meet the changing needs of our key partners, and we are continually exploring to improve our manufacturing footprint.
“The acquisition of Langwathby Mill helps us to secure a long-term platform for growth and enables us to strengthen and support our customer partnerships, both now and for the future.”
