Achieving vaccination success was the key theme for a recent Ross Breeders Zambia seminar which attracted 25 customers and employees to the company’s premises in Mimosa.
Seminar delegates heard from Aviagen Veterinarian, Dr Pavel Shkarlat, on a range of topics which are particularly relevant to the African continent, including vaccination, biosecurity and disinfection. The advice focused on ensuring Ross birds perform to the best of their potential in the challenging local conditions.
“The seminar provided an ideal opportunity to continue sharing expertise and advice with our distributor and in turn with Ross Breeders Zambia’s customers on all aspects of effective vaccination and health management,” said Dr Shkarlat.
“Providing valuable knowledge and having specialist support available in this way is important to Ross to not only help improve the performance of the Ross 308 but also to help develop the poultry industry in the region.”
