Argo Poultry has issued a recall of its whole cooked chickens due to “lack of validation of shelf-life applied to products”, according to a statement published by the Food Standards Agency (FSA)
“Argo Foods has instigated a recall as it has been producing and selling products with a shelf-life which has been extended beyond the validated shelf-life,” reported FSA.
“The shelf-life has been extended beyond the validated shelf-life which could pose a risk to human health.
“Argo Foods has recalled all affected batches, and is contacting its immediate customers.”
