The British Free Range Egg Producers Association (BFREPA) has announced a major shake-up to its annual conference and industry dinner.
This year, the event will be a one-day affair, with the Free Range Awards dinner taking place on the evening of the conference, rather than the night before.
BFREPA has also selected a new location – the Telford International Centre – following many years holding the event in Birmingham.
“The BFREPA conference is a hugely popular event for free range egg farmers and the industry as a whole,” said Kate Dickinson, BFREPA’s conference & events manager. “But considering recent challenges, it’s arguably never been more important for us all to come together to help us tackle the major issues affecting producers.
“The conference also gives us an opportunity to celebrate all the positive things our industry has achieved that don’t get the attention they should when times are tough.”
The show is open to all producers – members and non-members of BFREPA – and any businesses connected to the sector.
