Aviagen UK recently took two broiler roadshows titled ‘Managing for success’ to customers, growers, and Ross 420 Club members. (Both roadshows took place before the restrictions imposed by the current COVID-19 pandemic.)
During the events, the Aviagen UK team explored the latest broiler trends, as well as ventilation and lighting essentials and other best practices for getting the highest performance, health and welfare from Ross birds. Speakers also discussed critical information on biosecurity, disease prevention and contingency planning, while an R&D team representative offered insights into genetics that perform in the real world.
Information from the UK broiler roadshow was distributed to all attendees and also made available to those who registered but could not attend, post-event.
The two UK events followed a broiler roadshow that Aviagen organised jointly with Parent Stock distributor Moy Park earlier this year and late 2019 in Ireland and Northern Ireland respectively.
