2 Sisters is introducing a new three-year finance graduate training scheme starting in September 2019.
Spearheaded by Dan Slater, group financial controller, and Siobhan Baird, group HR business partner, the scheme will incorporate three 12 month placements covering management accounting & reporting; business partnering; financial planning & analysis, group finance, shared services; internal audit and tax & treasury.
Seven positions are available and the recruitment team has shortlisted nearly 2,000 applications down to 36 candidates who have been invited to assessment centres in May.
The scheme also offers opportunities for staff across the business to get involved by becoming mentors, buddies, and using the graduates for support on projects.
Slater said: “I’m so excited that we’re able to offer young talented people an opportunity to build their careers with 2 Sisters.
“We have four superb finance graduates already in our business, Sam Reilly, Sam Phillips, Thomas Mottram and Arsalan Khan. All of them are fired up to support the selection process for the new intake. We’re trying to create a real sense of community so that they truly feel they belong to something bigger.”
