IPPE, the world’s largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, is being held in three weeks’ time, in Atlanta, USA.
The show, held between 31 January and 2 February, will include talks and demonstrations including a presentation by Brett Lumpkins, director of nutrition at Southern Poultry Research in the US, about feeding antibiotic-free broilers.
The TECH Talk will take place on 31 January at 3:30 in the World Congress Centre hall C1305.
The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) will host its annual Feed Production Education Programme on 1 Feb. The free programme is ideal for feed facility managers, operations personnel and mill personnel.
A Poultry History Museum and Hall of Fame display can be viewed in Booth C60 in the C-Lobby. The display takes attendees back to the beginnings of the American poultry industry and describes how the industry became the world’s largest producer of poultry products.
IPPE is a collaboration of three trade shows—International Feed Expo, International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo—representing the entire chain of protein production and processing. The event is sponsored by AFIA, the North American Meat Institute and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.
