The British Poultry Council (BPC) is looking for a new chief executive following the departure on April 30 of Andrew Large, who had been in the post since May 2013.
“The BPC Board would like to thank Andrew for guiding the British poultry meat sector through some of its most challenging times,” said BPC chairman, John Reed,
“He has done a huge amount to set a clear direction and reposition BPC to respond to the rapid changes in the food sector and the regulatory environment.”
Prior to becoming BPC chief executive three years ago, Mr Large’s career included being the director of external affairs at the Federation of Master Builders and chairman of the Trade Association Forum.
“I would like to wish both my successor and the UK poultry industry the best of luck,” he said. “Poultry meat has a very bright future and I look forward to seeing the industry grow and develop.”
