A conference about the science of egg and poultry quality is to be held in Edinburgh in September.
EggMeat 2017 is being hosted by the UK branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) and is suitable for all those interested in the science and application of science to the egg and poultry meat industry. The forthcoming XVII European Symposium on the Quality of Eggs and Egg Products and XXIII European Symposium on the Quality of Poultry Meat event will be held in Edinburgh 3 – 5 September 2017.

Organisers said the poultry industry relied on science and its application and “these meetings are important in making sure we keep advancing to meet the biggest challenges the world faces in terms of sustainable food supply”. This event provides a forum to make new collaborations and for young researchers to meet old hands.
