The British Goose Producers (BGP) has announced the death of John Lloyd, a long serving council member of the organization and a well-known supplier of a wide range of poultry to small producers across the country.
“John will be greatly missed by our members,” said BGP chairman, John Franklin.
“He added a down-to-earth approach to our meetings, giving us the benefit of his expertise in the poultry industry, making our meetings and farm walks all the more interesting and colourful for his presence. Our condolences go to his family.”
John (pictured) is survived by his partner Jeanne, son Edward, daughter Helen and five grandchildren.
