Premier Nutrition has appointed Ralph Bishop as poultry nutrition & innovation manager to lead its poultry team, with a focus on guiding customers to meet their sustainability targets.
The company said Bishop had a strong personal interest in carbon footprint analysis, and had already been instrumental in reducing reliance on soya whilst achieving a range of flock welfare benefits on a number of customer farms.
His team comprises Eloise Lawlor, a commercial poultry nutritionist, Alex Kemp, a commercial nutritionist, and Vicki Lambe, customer services co-ordinator.
Alan Johnston, Premier Nutrition’s head of commercial in the farm animal division, said: “We have ambitious plans to develop and innovate across all of our species teams and I am delighted that we have established this strong and inspired poultry team to support our customers’ ever-changing business needs. We will soon be announcing the addition of a new commercial nutritionist, further enabling our commitment to industry-leading nutritional expertise, supported by our state-of-the-art production facilities.”
