The breeding company, Aviagen, has extended its best practice series of customer booklets to include breeder, broiler and hatchery topics.
Designed to communicate best practice management strategies in a “user-friendly way” that can be easily implemented on the farm or in the hatchery, the series was first launched in August last year. The company has now responded to customer feedback by adding to the list of titles available.
“The series has been created to provide customers with information and guidance on best practice in various aspects of breeder, broiler and hatchery management,” said Aviagen’s global technical transfer manager, Dr Emma Whittemore.
“Feedback from the field now highlights the need for more and more practical ‘on-farm’ tools.”
In addition to the latest expansion of the series, Aviagen is planning to cover further topics in the future.
