The International Poultry Council (IPC) has announced its new composition for 2024, with Richard Griffiths, chief executive of the British Poultry Council, elected vice president, and Ricardo Santin, chief executive of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal), assuming the presidency.
In his role as vice president, Griffiths will play a pivotal role in bolstering IPC’s mission by engaging with the global community. With a focus on the future of global food systems and the vital role of poultry in ensuring food security worldwide, Griffiths said he would work with the IPC community to steer efforts to shape the trajectory for the international poultry industry.
“The new IPC executive committee brings together a wealth of voices, expertise, and backgrounds. All of us are ready to take the next steps to champion the poultry industry on the global stage and support our members in their efforts to feed the world.”
