Aviagen has appointed Marco Thiessen to its global incubation services team. He will work closely with customers across the UK and Europe, helping them optimise hatchery and incubation performance.
Thiessen has joined a group of global incubation specialists who support Aviagen customers with guidance and practical solutions.
The global incubation services team provides support during incubation trials to ensure optimal results and training programs for producers.
Thiessen has experience and expertise in hatchery operations. During his 6.5 years with Dutch hatchery equipment manufacturer HatchTech, he travelled extensively, providing training and help improving customer results worldwide.
“Marco’s deep understanding of hatchery systems, combined with his ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, makes him a valuable addition to our team,” said Eddy van Lierde, head of Aviagen’s incubation services team. “We’re happy to have him on board and look forward to his contributions to our customers and colleagues.”
