Poultry processor IHP has recorded a strong increase in sales and profits for the year ending 28 February 2024.
Turnover reached £76.9 million, up from £75.3 million the previous year, while profit after tax was £2.9 million, up from £2.2 million the year before.
The company employed 233 people during the year. Wages amounted to £8.9 million.
The company is in the process of expanding operations by continuing redevelopment works at Cotes Farm, which was acquired in September 2021. Construction is underway to develop new broiler houses on the site, two of which are now in use. The directors said they considered the future promising due to strong levels of growth and they are actively looking to continue to grow and invest in the company.
