Noble Foods has revealed a new design, packaging, and website for its brand, the happy egg co.
It’s the first time since 2018 that the UK’s number one egg brand has had a complete design overhaul, and includes the return of the iconic strapline ‘Happy Hens Lay Tasty Eggs’. New packs have already begun to arrive in stores across the UK, including Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury’s and Asda.
Noble Foods said it wanted to new design to highlight hen welfare and create greater interest in the free-range sector altogether.
Commenting on the new design, Kate Charman, senior brand manager at Noble Foods said: “Our ambition with this re-brand is to highlight our leadership as the no.1 egg brand and to show, more visually, how the happy egg co. brings high animal welfare standards to the consumer.
“Beyond our investment into the brand’s look and feel, which includes improved visibility in retail stores, we’re excited to be pushing forward the free-range category at large. Engaging more consumers to choose great quality, free-range eggs, with a better understanding of the benefits of buying them”.
The new website will have with additional content about the producers and new recipe inspiration. A TV advert will focus on their free-range producers and their welfare standards. The advert will expand on the ‘Happy Hens Lay Tasty Eggs’ brand promise and feature four of the brand’s free-range producers.
The producers represent a mixture of backgrounds and ages, from across the UK. They include Patrick Lynn, Phil Ashton, William Waind and William Maughan.
