Moy Park has reported a 58.1% decrease in annual operating profits in the year to 31 December 2021. The poultry integrator reported an operating profit of £36.1 million during the period, on revenue of £1.53bn, which increased 4.8% during the year.
Performance was impacted by high cost inflation, the company said, which has affected all poultry companies. Following what it described as “an extremely challenging year”, the company’s focus on innovation and cost control was of utmost importance.
Moy Park invested £43 million in infrastructure during the year.
During the year, the highest paid director earned £1.09 million. The company employed 9,675 people across nine processing facilities in Northern Ireland, England and France.
