Purely Organic has been certified as carbon neutral by the Carbon Trust.
The egg brand, owned by Noble Foods, is the company’s fastest growing product, and has an 18.1% share of the organic egg market.
The brand has redesigned its packaging to include the words ‘Carbon Neutral’, and the new packs will be available on supermarket shelves from the end of July.
“Like us, shoppers agree that sustainability is extremely important,” said Glenn Evans, Noble Foods’ Group Environmental Manager. “Therefore, we believe it’s our responsibility to take a market-leading step forward in carbon reduction, to ensure a more sustainable future for customers and producers alike.”
The revamped packs of Purely Organic will be available in pack sizes of six and ten and will be supported by in-store shopper marketing and digital media, including paid social media activity.
