As the national labour shortage threatens supplies of its poultry, Soanes Poultry has injected some fun into its fleet of vehicles.
Soanes Poultry’s latest vehicle, a refrigerated Vauxhall Combo fondly known as the ‘vanbassador’ took to the road last week after being expertly wrapped by Scarborough signwriting business, Don French Signs.
Simon Dodd, Soanes Poultry’s brand ambassador and customer service co-ordinator, said he is enjoying the reaction from customers and other road users to his customised van.
“It’s fun, eye catching and it makes people smile,” he said. “We wanted a vehicle that helped to spread the word about our Yorkshire provenance and award-winning quality and we’re really pleased with the result.
“Part of my job involves supporting existing customers and building new relationships and the van is certainly an ice breaker in that respect.”
The van graphics were designed by Huddersfield designer, Penny Wilson Design using elements of the brand identity that feature on Soanes Poultry’s packaging.
