This year’s National Egg & Poultry Awards is going virtual on 18 November, to reward and recognise the achievements of the brightest and best in the egg and poultry industry.
Simon Lewis, group managing director of Lewis Business Media, the publisher of Poultry Business, said the decision to make this year’s National Egg & Poultry Awards 2020 virtual was in response to the Government guidelines and advice surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
Simon Lewis said: “While we are obviously disappointed that we will not be able to bring the industry together in person, we are excited to be able to deliver the National Egg & Poultry Awards in a different format, on 18 November.”
After a successful event in 2019, this year’s awards attracted a high standard of entry from producers, packers, processors and vets from across the UK and the virtual judging session, was held earlier in the summer.
We will publish a supplement with all the finalists entry details in the November issue of Poultry Business, and the winners will be featured in the December issue.
