The NFU’s annual autumn turkey marketing meeting is going virtual for 2020. Turkey producers who would like to attend will need to register in advance.
This year, there will be one meeting open to producers from across the regions. The event will take place at 7pm on 3 September 2020, hosted live on Microsoft Teams. You do not need to have a Microsoft Teams account to attend the meeting. You will however need to register for your place in advance via this link https://www.nfuonline.com/sectors/poultry/poultry-must-read/register-now-for-the-nfus-autumn-turkey-marketing-meeting/#register
Although this year’s turkey marketing meeting is being delivered slightly differently, it will still contain all the important insights and updates for seasonal turkey producers. The meeting will be chaired by NFU turkey group chair Michael Bailey and will feature presentations covering the feed market, consumer insights, cost of production, legislation updates, and top tips for marketing turkeys from the farm gate.
Paul Kelly, managing director at Kelly Turkeys, will be sharing his story of ‘Christmas the Kelly way’ and attendees will have the opportunity to ask the speakers live questions on the evening.
