Moy Park has been recognised with two occupational health and safety awards from the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The company received a ‘Gold Award’ for its health and safety performance as well as a ‘Gold Medal’ for Fleet Safety, for the fifth year in succession.
An elite panel of judges made up of safety, management and academic experts consider entrants’ overarching health and safety strategies, management processes as well as leadership and workforce engagement.
Commenting on the awards, Moy Park’s Head of Sustainability and Risk Declan Cunningham said: “It is an honour to be recognised in the UK’s most prestigious health and safety awards. At Moy Park, ensuring we operate in a safe and secure environment is, and remains, one of our top priorities. Risk assessment, accident prevention and monitoring are embedded in our teams and at an individual level across all our operations, as we work together to continually drive forward industry-leading health and safety standards. The ongoing COVID-19 situation shows how important that approach is and the safety of our team is always our most important consideration.”
