Britain’s biggest private food manufacturer is making strides to develop a culture of transparency and honesty with the launch of a brand new colleague suggestion scheme – TalktoMe.
The just-launched line of communication at 2 Sisters Food Group encourages employees from across the whole business to contact TalktoMe to share their ideas on ways to improve the organisation.
Ranjit Singh, President, Boparan Holdings Ltd, said: “At 2 Sisters we are creating a culture of transparency, trust and honesty. We have learnt a great deal from our journey over the last six months and want to continue driving forward to become a better business.
“TalktoMe is a way of celebrating the brilliant things we are doing around the business, sharing best practice and exploring new ideas. Our colleagues are vital to the success of our business and we want to ensure they have a voice to share their valuable insights.”
Communications advisor, Emily Wildbore is managing the new initiative. “TalktoMe is a great opportunity to explore the innovative thinking we have here at 2 Sisters and for colleagues around the business to share their suggestions with the senior management team. All ideas are welcomed, no matter how big or small.
“The TalktoMe team is really looking forward to giving feedback on the ideas received.”
TalktoMe comes after a number of initiatives 2 Sisters have taken to increase transparency. The business was the first organisation to publish their UK Poultry audit results in 2017 and will be sharing information on their whistleblowing and health and safety data over the coming months.
