Noble Foods is collaborating with Disney to launch a free-range egg selection featuring Frozen 2 characters.
“Children under the age of 15 are missing out on roughly 110 million egg meal occasions annually,” said Matt Davis, marketing controller at Noble Foods. “The partnership with Disney Kitchen allows us to support parents by offering them an unprocessed product that’s made more enticing with the Disney characters that children know and love.”
A recent study into the attitudes of children towards eggs pointed to positive perception in terms of using and enjoying them, but consumption can be hampered by parents’ lack of understanding of the health benefits of eggs in addition to not knowing how to prepare them in a way that children will enjoy.
“Eggs are a great source of protein and offer consumers fantastic value for money,” said Davis. “They are also a source of selenium to boost the immune system, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron and copper.3 This collaboration aligns with Disney’s Healthy Living commitment, whereby their incredible characters and storytelling can encourage positive behaviour for families.”
The Disney Kitchen egg range will be available from mid-October in 10 -pack mixed weight – at an MRSP of £2.04. All packs will carry the British Lion mark.
